"THE VOICE OF THE MARINERS"
MARK "WULFY" WULFHORST
PUBLIC ADDRESS ANNOUNCER
Mark "Wulfy" Wulfhorst returns after a year off as the announcer for the Mariner home games. Mark for the past four years has covered and announced local high school sports events for K-94. Prior to that he held a similar position with WCSM for 13 years and WDOH for 10 years.
Wulfy brings a professional atmosphere to the press box. He researches each Mariner player and visiting tem which adds color to each game.

"INFORMATION CENTRAL"
RON HEINDEL
SCOREBOARD
It may not seem so to most people, but maintaining accurate information
for the fans and the players via the scoreboard is not an easy job,
requiring concentration and constant observance of the umpires to keep
information as current as possible.
Few are better at this job than veteran scoreboard operator Ron Heindel.
In addition to keeping ball and strikes, among other items, immediately
updated, Ron serves as an extra set of eyes for the public address
announcer and the official scorers.
Ron is also the press box's resident rock-n-roll expert, able to
identify virtually any song through just a few notes, and able to give
you a complete background on the artist, the date it was recorded, and
just about anything else you could imagine.
The Daily Standard's sports staff provides game coverage and serves as
the Mariners' official scorers for home games at Jim Hoess Field.
"THE WRITTEN WORD"
